An ESPN series out next year will tell the story of Tom Brady‘s journey to each of his nine Super Bowls with the New England Patriots, six of which they won. This announcement comes at the heels of the widely successful Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls documentary, “The Last Dance.”
I have quoted Theodore Roosevelt’s “Man in the Arena” speech since I saw it painted on our weight room wall at UM in 1995. It’s a constant reminder to ignore the noise, buckle my chinstrap, and battle through whatever comes my way.

The nine-episode series, called, The Man in the Arena: Tom Brady, will feature a look from Brady’s perspective. Brady, who’s won more Super Bowls than anyone else, said, “Through the series, we’re defining the key moments and challenges that were seemingly insurmountable, but through hard work and perseverance, became career-defining triumphs, in both victory and defeat.”
The series produced by Religion of Sports is set to air in 2021.
