Burger King knows onion-breath can be quite offensive and has come up with a clever idea in light of the pandemic—the “Social Distancing Whopper.”
A commercial for the sandwich hit YouTube on Thursday (May 21st) and shows a woman and a man waiting for an elevator. Then man appears to say hello, and the woman, repulsed by the stench of his breath, chooses to take the stairs instead.
The clip, which is in Italian, concludes with, “The triple onion Whopper that helps others stay away.” The sandwich apparently includes three times the amount of onions compared to a regular Whopper.
