Chicago Restaurants and Bars will be able to reopen indoor dining this Friday for 25% capacity

Another milestone toward normal: Mayor Laurie Lightfoot has declared that Chicago restaurants will be able to reopen indoor service this Friday, June 26th.  BUT, restaurants and bars will have to follow some rules regarding how many can actually go into their facilities.  No more than 25% of those business capacities will be allowed inside.  For those bigger restaurants and venues, dining areas will not be allowed to permit more than 50 guests at time.

This coincides with same day that Illinois plans to enter “Phase 4” of the state’s re-opening plan.
