Elton John “WOW’d” by music students’ cover of “I’m Still Standing” – Invites class to his show | 94.7 WLS

Music students at Telford Priory School in England, lead by teacher Ben Millington, covered Elton John‘s classic hit, “I’m Still Standing,” as a project during the pandemic lockdown. Students sang and played various instruments to recreate the song over a video call software. Millington stated on the YouTube post, “This proves we can all still be creative.”

Elton John agrees! The music icon took to Twitter to congratulate Millington and his students on a successful and, “Brilliant,” cover. Elton was so impressed that he even invited Millington and his class to attend one of this shows in the tweet.
