Brookfield Zoo and Lincoln Park Zoo set dates for reopening

Illinois kicks off, “Phase 4,” of reopening the state this Friday.  Indoor seating at restaurants and bars returns that day (with restrictions) and now Brookfield Zoo and the Lincoln Park Zoo have released plans for once again opening their gates to the public.

Lincoln Park Zoo is coming back on June 29th and soon after, we will see Brookfield Zoo open on July 1st for members and July 8th to the general public.

Things will be different though: you will have to make reservations to enter and social distancing will be observed on the parks’ premises.  For Lincoln Park, reservations will be made by the hour and Brookfield every 20 minutes.  Some areas will be restricted including indoor habitats, play areas and petting zoos.
