Talk about method acting: actor Michael O’Keefe who played Danny Noonan in Caddyshack has volunteered to be a caddy in the next U.S. Open. The actor wrote up a lengthy and convincing proposal, on Golf.com, stating the case for hiring him for caddying duties during the golf tournament. He states, “I exercise daily. I may be 65, but I act like I’m 30.” That with his acting resume has me convinced! The 2020 U.S. Open is set for September 17th.
