Enforcing a, ‘No shirt, no shoes, no service’ policy was WAY easier for restaurants than a, ‘no face mask, no service’ one. So, Manny’s Deli, located in South Loop, Chicago, challenged customers to go a full 30 days without staff having to tell anyone to wear your face mask and wear it properly in exchange for free sandwiches…
Ok, we had 7 people come in today who needed their masks corrected but we’ll give you guys one more chance. If we go 30 days without having to ask anyone to put on or correct their mask we’ll give away free sandwiches for a day. Let’s do this.

They haven’t quite nailed that goal yet, but an anonymous donor came forward to help Manny’s Deli make this free sandwich day happen! For a full day, you will be able to get a free sandwich from Manny’s as long as you’re wearing your mask and wearing it correctly. Face diapers don’t count!
