Lake Michigan is great… but sometimes, if you’re coming from the suburbs, you don’t want to head all the way into the city to get some beach action.

The Daily Herald put out an article with some of the best beaches in da ‘burbs.  They include Centennial Beach in Naperville, Hall Quarry Beach in Batavia, Main Beach in Crystal Lake, Paulus Park Beach & Spray Ground in Lake Zurich, Phil’s Beach in Wauconda, which all open on May 29th, and Diamond Lake Beach in Mundelein, which starts welcoming guests on June 5th.

The Daily Herald lists prices, hours and details on all these locations.  In just a few days, you’ll be able to hit the water again!
