Don’t worry it’s still LSD for now.  WGN TV reports that the Chicago City Council have delayed the vote of changing Lake Shore Drive’s name to DuSable.

Alderman David Moore has proposed changing the section of Lake Shore Drive from Hollywood Avenue to 67th Street to Jean Baptiste Point du Sable Drive.  The proposed name change is meant to honor the founder of the settlement that eventually became the Chicago we know today.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot has proposed alternative roads to rename DuSable, including the Dan Ryan Expressway.
