A Chicago bus driver, named Dan O’Conor, jumped into Lake Michigan for a 365th straight day on Saturday (June 12th), reaching a full year of the jumps he started doing as a way to relieve stress during the pandemic.

The father of three kept jumping into Lake Michigan even after winter arrived and it froze, hacking a hole in the ice that was big enough for him to jump through. Saturday was a special day because it was the culmination of O’Conor doing it for a full year. He said, “I just wanted to celebrate just that drive to dive for 365.”
