Juneteenth is now a federal holiday and there’s so many events going on this weekend to celebrate!

Block Club Chicago compiled a list of over 30 marches, picnics, parades and more that will commemorate and honor this day of emancipation and freedom.  

Some highlights include the DuSable Museum Juneteenth Reopening Celebration, Beverly/Morgan Park Family Festival and Black Business Crawl, the 21st Ward Freedom Mobile Parade and Event and the Just Harvest Juneteenth Celebration.

Events are happening all weekend long all over Chicago.  Happy Juneteenth!!
