Harlem Globetrotters want to join the NBA

Would you want to be the NBA ref that has to tell the Harlem Globe Trotters to not sit on the hoop?

The Harlem Globetrotters are petitioning the NBA to let them join the league. In a letter to NBA commissioner Adam Silver, the Globetrotters stated their case by explaining how their group has been integral to the NBA organization.

There is currently speculation of the NBA adding a 31st team to the league. Maybe that’ll be the Globe Trotters!
