This is a major sign for good times ahead.
The state of Illinois reported no new Covid deaths on Monday, July 5th. This is the first time that has happened since March 16th of last year. June was a month of very low death numbers, keeping mostly in the single digits each day.
Over half of all Illinois adults are fully vaccinated and almost an additional fourth of adults are partially vaccinated.
