In South Carolina, a student got to take a prize from the classroom prize box and pulled out a package of… Stoney Patch Kids!

The gummy candy is obviously very reminiscent of Sour Patch Kids, which is likely how it got into the prize box in the first place. The bag contained 350 mg of THC… For the average Joe, that’s A LOT and for a kid, it’s dangerous!

When the edibles were discovered in the kid’s possession, not only was the teacher fired, she was also arrested!

In SC, the drug is classified as a class 1 drug, making it illegal to possess in the state. Police fond more edibles in the teacher’s home.
