Someday, you won’t be heading to Soldier Field to see da Bears play…
Just at the end of last month, The Chicago Bears bought Arlington International Race Park out in the northwest suburb of Arlington Heights. And now, they’re already talking to the city through the zoning and approval processes.
The Bears still have a lease with Soldier Field that lasts until 2033. The team won’t get a chance to opt out of the lease until 2026, but that would still mean a penalty of $84 million!!
