Free-agent shortstop Javier Baez has agreed to a six-year, $140 million deal with the Detroit Tigers, according to media reports yesterday, November 30th, in what would be the second-largest free agent deal in Tigers history.

The two-time All-Star was with the Chicago Cubs since coming up in 2014, until being traded to the New York Mets this past July.
