West Loop’s hot dog stand at the corner of Lake and Desplaines is closed for good. The Chicago institution that’s been around for over 30 years, Fast Track, shut its doors one final time on Wednesday.
The owner sites tough times due to the pandemic and a recent residential boom that caused the restaurant’s regular customership to dwindle.
