“Beavis and Butthead Do the Universe” hits Paramount+ next week, and new episodes of the show are coming by the end of the year.

But this is 2022, and Beavis and Butthead aren’t limiting themselves to music videos.  They’ll also comment on clips from YouTube and TikTok.

Creator Mike Judge says, quote, “There’s just so much to watch.  We were limited to [music videos] on MTV, but the world is cluttered with so much video now.

“Now, whatever the demographic that was watching music videos [in the ’90s] is probably watching this kind of TikTok stuff.  And we all watch YouTube.”
