It’s kind of an unwritten rule that law enforcement tends to go easy on people who illegally fire off fireworks during the 4th of July. Well, Mayor and Governor Candidate Richard Irvin and the town of Aurora are throwing that out the window.
If you fire off illegal fireworks in Aurora you could be faced with a fine of up to $1,000! It’s part of their “If You Light It, We’ll Write It,” initiative. So, if you’re in Aurora and don’t have $1,000 just burning a hole in your pocket, you may want to consider going to a show instead…
