Ever just received $50 out of the blue? It’s a pretty good feeling!
Well, around 6 million Illinois residents are going to know that feeling soon enough. The state of Illinois is paying out tax rebates to residents who paid their taxes and make under $200,000. It’s $50 for single tax filers, $100 for couples, and up to $300 for filers with dependents.
The state is also shelling out cash to those who paid property tax: a max of $300.
