Recycle your Christmas Tree this weekend at these Chicago area locations

The Chicago Park District is once again conducting its annual Christmas Tree recycling program. Starting January 8th, you will be able to take your tree to one of 26 locations.

You must remove lights and ornaments before recycling.

There are six locations offering mulch starting January 10th. You can find a location near you at recyclebycity.com/chicago.

Suburbanites can find recycling locations at pickyourownchristmastree.org.
