Chicago Bears Close on Arlington Heights Property but say it Does Not Mean a Stadium will be Built on the Site

So the Chicago Bears are now one step closer to moving out to Arlington Heights

Chicago‘s NFL team closed on their deal to buy the old Arlington Park Race Track. Though this puts them even closer to moving out to the northwest suburb, the team will not admit this means that a stadium will be built in Arlington Heights.

The letter released by the Chicago Bears did go into detail about the if’s of the Chicago Bears building a new stadium… if/then it would be one of the largest mega-projects in Midwest history, if/ then it would create more than 48,000 jobs, if/ then they would generate $9.4 billion for Chicagoland’s economy…
