Members of the band were on the Howard Stern Show to announce the final dates of their final tour (read more here) when they started talking about their music. Howard asks if Paul Stanley ever brought a song to the band that Gene Simmons didn’t want on an album. So Simmons goes into a story about when Stanley first brought, “I Was Made for Lovin’ You to him,”…

Initially, Gene loved the title of the song and the lyrics… but when Simmons asks about his part in the song, he sings, “do-do-do-do-do…”

This is the part the audience usually sings along with. But, Paul Stanley calls it, “The beauty of music.”
