Where’s the best place to live in Chicagoland?
If your mind went to Naperville or Deerfield, you’re wrong… at least according to the website Niche. The website looks into the best places for students and families to live. So they ranked cities and towns surrounding Chicago based on factors including crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities, and local amenities.
So what took the number one spot? Bannockburn! Heard of it? The north suburb is surrounded by Lincolnshire, Deerfield, Highmoor… It’s right near Highland Park.
Anyway, Bannockburn scored A+’s for its public schools, being good for families, and health and safety. Bannockburn’s lowest score was in, “cost of living,” only scoring a C in that category.
