Earlier in July, Rev. Michael Pfleger took to the Dan Ryan Expressway, bringing with him many of Chicago’s citizens wishing to combat crime and poverty. Now another major metropolitan road has been targeted as the location of the next large protest. Rev. Gregory Livingston is garnering support for his non-violence protest that will take place on Thursday, August 2nd on Lake Shore Drive.
From Belmont Avenue to Wrigley Field, protesters will march in the street starting at 4pm. This proceeds a Cubs game that takes place at 7pm. Between rush hour and people heading to the game, there’s no doubt eyes will be on the LSD anti-violence protest.
