Elton John announced yesterday that he has partnered up with Twickets for his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. Twickets is a global fan-to-tan marketplace which will provide a regulated space for fans of John to ethically buy or sell their spare tickets.

According to Billboard, the goal of the partnership is to combat the secondary ticketing market, prevent the exploitation of Elton John fans and to eliminate price mark-up by ensuring that tickets are resold at face value.

Elton John’s sold out Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour starts in Allentown, PA on September 8th. It will make 300 stops around the world before concluding in 2021.

Elton plays Chicago at the United Center on October 26th and 27th.
