Happy Birthday to Pete Townshend, the primary creative force behind the Who, who wrote nearly all of the band’s music and has been responsible for crafting the stories and themes behind such rock classics as Tommy, Who’s Next, and Quadrophenia.  Townshend is the writer of such classic hits as, “Who Are You,” “Behind Blue Eyes,” and “Won’t Be Fooled Again.”

Townshend revealed he’s begun writing the followup to the Who’s 2019 album, WHO.  The album was released on December 6th, and entered the Billboard 200 at Number two.
