An annual survey has crowned Taco Bell is “Brand of the Year,” among various other Mexican restaurant chains. The Harris Poll EquiTrend Study ranks various brands based on, “familiarity, quality and future consideration.” This was Taco Bell’s first time at the top of this study that has been conducted for 30 years.

You have to admit, you’ve seen advertisements and heard word-of-mouth about their many new and bizarre products. This was a big factor in pushing the fast food chain to the top, beating rival, Chipotle. The Harris Poll EquiTrend Study measures many other brands including best coffee shop, hotel and pizza chain.
