If you’re looking for a furry friend to become a member of your family, you may want to visit one of the many participating shelters in this year’s ‘Help Clear the Shelters’ event on Saturday, August 17th. Shelters registered for this event will waive or discount adoption fees on this date in an attempt the do as the event’s title says. Last year’s event helped 100,000 pets find homes. Maybe you’ll help this event to beat that number this year!
