About the Show

Cara Carriveau’s voice has been part of the Chicago soundtrack for more than three decades—and she’s still having way too much fun to stop now. Catch her bringing the music, energy, and just the right amount of sass to your weekends on 94.7 WLS, where she’s been happily hanging out since 2019—and occasionally popping up during the week, too.

Cara genuinely loves what she does, and it shows. When she’s not playing the songs she loves on the radio, she’s probably hearing them live. A proud concert addict, Cara is always ready to jump into a crowd, sing along at the top of her lungs, and chase that magical feeling when the lights go down and the music kicks in. Now that she’s officially an empty nester, her concert calendar is getting a serious workout.

When she’s not behind the microphone or dancing in a concert crowd, #HandyCara is usually tackling a home improvement project, fitting in a Pilates class, or snuggling with her fur-baby, Ambrose.

Cara loves good music, good people, and making the most of every day—and brings that same energy everywhere she goes.
