From “Man of Steel” to man who’s bones are coated in steel, Henry Cavil, who is best known for playing Superman in the films “Man of Steel,” “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” and “The Justice League,” is rumored to be the next actor to play the clawed X-Men member from the north, Wolverine.
YouTube channel The Quartering has declared that Cavil will make his appearance as the 5’3″ (at least he’s that height in the comics) feral Canadian in the upcoming “Captain Marvel 2.” If correct, Cavil has some massive shoes to fill: following Hugh Jackman, who has played the iconic comic book character’s role since the year 2000.
Captain Marvel 2 isn’t set to hit theaters until 2022, so we’ll have to wait around to see if the space captain will really be taking on Marvel’s fur ball on the big screen…
