As we are entering phase 3 and people are returning to commuting, train-riders will be experiencing a bit of the irregular. Monday and Tuesday of this week, the trains were canceled entirely, in response to protests, riots and looting.
To further protect riders and workers, as Metra started running their trains again on Wednesday, they switched to a modified schedule for their lines that matched the typical Sunday schedule. These are fewer trains at very different times from the norm. This modified schedule will continue through Sunday, June 7th.
