8-year-old Sox fan with 3D-printed hand throws first pitch

8-year-old Hailey Dawson proved to be quite the inspiration at yesterday’s (Tuesday, June 12th) White Sox game.  Dawson has Poland Syndrome, which is the cause of her having been born missing 3 fingers.  This would stop most from throwing a great pitch, but Tuesday was Hailey’s 13th!  Hailey Dawson sports a 3D printed hand which she has been using to pitch with at various Major League Baseball fields.

She wants to break the Guinness record for most ceremonial first pitches thrown by an individual and I think she’s going to do it!
