Mick Fleetwood revealed that in addition to possibly tapping into its late-’60s Peter Green blues era, a Mike Campbell and Tom Petty song (along with a Crowded House number) will find their way into Fleetwood Mac‘s upcoming set lists.

Fleetwood told Pulse that along with the classic 1970’s and ’80s Mac standards, the band will absolutely pay tribute to Tom Petty within the show: “I won’t tell you the song, but it’s hugely appropriate that we’re doing a Tom Petty and Mike Campbell song onstage. He wasn’t sure he wanted to do it. We said, ‘You’ve gotta do it. You’ve gotta do it!’ And we love doing it. And we are doing it. And the same with Neil. So all of that is alive and well and it’s a sense of traditional Fleetwood Mac — openness to welcoming new energy and new talent into the band.”

Fleetwood Mac performs in Chicago on October 6th at the United Center.
