The Mega Millions jackpot has grown to an estimated $654 million, the fourth-largest in U.S. history, after there hasn’t been a winner for nearly three months. The last jackpot was on July 24th, when a group of people from California won $543 million. The odds of winning in tonight’s (October 16th) drawing are 1 in 302.5 million, a number that doesn’t change because of the large size of the jackpot. Mega Millions is played in 44 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
