The CSO is on strike

On Sunday, March 10th, the musicians of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra announced that they are officially on strike.  The announcement comes after failure to negotiate a contract suitable to the members of the orchestra’s needs.  The strikers are forming picket lines outside CSO, with the musicians hoping they can maintain their benefits, including vacation time and pension.
