Got a ticket and could not talk yourself out of this one? Don’t worry, looking at the fee won’t make you carsick anymore.
Thanks to Lori Lightfoot, thousands of Chicagoans ticket debt is about to improve immensely. Earlier this week, the mayor proposed a ticket reform to eliminate driver’s license suspensions for non-driving violations, to reduce city sticker penalties and to make payment plans more accessible. Furthermore, procrastinating drivers may request a 24-hour extension to pay fines in full or get on a payment plan after having their car booted.
College Students and the lower class are celebrating. The democrat explains, “It doesn’t make sense to punish people for not paying their fines by taking away their ability to earn a living and pay that fine back.”
That’s fine by me!
