Guess which state has the fewest Starbucks locations

Starbucks might feel like it’s on nearly every other street corner, but apparently you won’t feel like this in Vermont. The Green Mountain State has the fewest number of Starbucks locations in America– there’s just nine in total. There’s a cluster of five locations around Burlington, one nearby in Williston, and three outliers in Barre, Manchester, and Bennington.

If you consider the fact that Vermont has the second lowest state population in America, the low number might make sense. However, Wyoming has even fewer residents, and yet has 23 Starbucks locations. There’s no official word from Starbucks about why Vermont has so few locations.
