Huey Lewis & The News have just released their first new track in over a decade, called, “Her Love Is Killin’ Me.” The tune will be featured on the band’s upcoming album for BMG due out in the near future.
Lewis, who is focusing on an upcoming jukebox musical built around the News’ classic ’80s hits, was forced off the road indefinitely last year after being diagnosed with Meniere’s disease, which has rendered Lewis unable to hear music well enough to sing. The lower frequencies distort violently making it impossible for the vocalist to find their pitch.
